What is Wishr?

How do I create an account?
You can create a Wishr account in several ways:
- Download the mobile app (iOS or Android) and sign up
- Use Google or Apple sign-in for quick registration
- Visit our web app at web.wishrapp.net
Is Wishr free to use?
Yes! Wishr is completely free to use. We finance the app through ads where we try to keep them relevant and not intrusive.
What devices does Wishr support?
Wishr is available on:
- iOS devices (iPhone and iPad)
- Android devices
- Web browsers at web.wishrapp.net
Creating and Managing Wishlists
How do I create a wishlist?
- Open the Wishr app
- Tap "Create Wishlist"
- Give your wishlist a name

Can I have multiple wishlists?
Absolutely! You can create as many wishlists as you want. Many users create separate lists for different occasions, categories, or recipients.
How do I add items to my wishlist?
You can add items in several ways:
- Manually enter item details (name, price, description, link)
- Import from online stores using product URLs
- Take photos of items you see in stores

Yes! You can:

How do I share my wishlist?
You can share your wishlist by:
- Sending an invitation link via message, email, or social media
- Sharing a QR code for easy scanning
- Giving someone your wishlist code to enter manually

Who can see my wishlist?
This depends on your privacy settings:
- Public: Anyone with the link can view
- Private: Only you can see it
- Friends Only: Only people you specifically invite

Can I change privacy settings after creating a wishlist?
No, this is currently not possible. If you want to change the privacy settings, you can delete the list and create a new one. If you need this feature, please let us know by here.
How do I join someone else's wishlist?
If someone shares a wishlist with you:
- Click the invitation link they sent
- The app will open automatically (if installed)
- Or enter the wishlist code manually in the app
- You'll be able to view and contribute to the shared wishlist

Troubleshooting
The app won't open when I click a wishlist link
Try these solutions:
- Make sure the Wishr app is installed on your device
- Copy the wishlist code from the message and enter it manually in the app
- Use the web version at web.wishrapp.net
- Restart your device if the problem persists

I can't find a wishlist I was invited to
Check that:
- You're using the correct wishlist code (case-sensitive)
- The wishlist owner hasn't changed privacy settings
- You have a stable internet connection
- You're logged into the correct account
Items aren't saving to my wishlist
This usually happens due to:
- Poor internet connection
- App needs to be updated
- Temporary server issues
Try closing and reopening the app, or contact support if the problem continues.
Features and Functionality
Can I mark items as purchased?
Yes! When you or someone else purchases an item, you can mark it as "purchased" to avoid duplicate gifts. This helps coordinate group gifting.

Can I see who purchased what?
Depending on your settings, you can see when items are marked as purchased, but the purchaser's identity may remain anonymous to preserve gift surprises.
Can I add items from any website?
You can add items from most websites by copying and pasting the product URL. Our system will automatically extract product details when possible.
Does Wishr work internationally?
Yes! Wishr works worldwide. You can add items from international stores and share wishlists with people in different countries.
Can I export my wishlist?
This is currently not possible. If you need this feature, please let us know by here.
Account and Data
How do I delete my account?
To delete your account:
- Go to Settings in the app
- Select "Account Settings"
- Choose "Delete Account"
- Confirm your decision
Note: This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
What happens to my data if I delete my account?
When you delete your account, all your personal data, wishlists, and associated information are permanently removed from our servers.
How do you protect my privacy?
We take privacy seriously. We never sell your personal data, and we use industry-standard encryption to protect your information. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
Technical Support
The app is running slowly
Try these steps:
- Close and reopen the app
- Restart your device
- Check for app updates
- Clear the app cache (Android)
- Free up storage space on your device
I'm not receiving notifications
Check that:
- Notifications are enabled in your device settings
- Wishr has permission to send notifications
- You haven't muted notifications in the app settings
How do I report a bug?
You can report bugs by:
- Using the "Report Issue" feature in the app
